Audition Expectations
Hands & Hearts is committed to presenting the highest quality production of The Nutcracker. As a result, each cast member must be equally committed to Hands and Hearts Nutcracker. You are auditioning to participate in the Nutcracker Ballet ~ not for a specific role. Please DO NOT audition if you are not willing to accept the role you are given and to attend all rehearsals.
Female Dancers/Tumblers:
Solid color leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes and hair in a bun.
Pointe shoes, with 2 years of training
Male Dancers/Tumblers:
Black tights, athletic shorts or sweat pants, white tee shirt and ballet shoes.
Adults:
Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing and be prepared to learn some simple choreography.
